WHY IAM
Since 2012 I have documented a series of long-term projects, “ why I am,” about a big issue most Iraqi s people have faceted about the survivors of explosions in Iraq after 2004-2005.
Muslim, a kid, survived an explosive device targeting the convoy of the governor of Najaf on the road near the cemeteries when Muslims were selling water and soft drinks on the edge of the road. Muslim was injured after a few months and transferred to a hospital in Jordan. Still soon, they returned to Iraq to complete his treatment. His father takes care of his treatment, with some help from people for Muslim, hoping he can walk on his feet again, and the lack of some essential medicines to treat Muslim legs may cause his legs to be amputated. 2013
